Oh. WOW: check out this amazing mama to be! She is so beautiful!!! I love her gorgeous long red hair. And she paired it perfectly with a teal blue/green wrap around dress. And we hit the golden hour of the day just perfectly! This may be my favorite time of day to shoot outdoor sessions now: right before sunset! P.S. This was a fun summery session that took place in the heart of Sunnyvale. I love living here! Mama picked out a great dress to compliment the season which she got from Pink Blush Maternity, one of our preferred gown vendors because of style and quality. P.S. If you still haven't seen it yet, check out my Maternity Styling Guide for tips on what to wear to your photography portrait session. I met this mama to be in her Sunnyvale home just two days before she gave birth to a beautiful baby boy! Can you believe it? While I normally recommend having your maternity photos taken a little earlier in the pregnancy, sometimes things just don't work out and this time we cut it close and lucked out that her baby waited until we got the photos of mom before making his debut! This mama loves plants and that might be an understatement!! I was so glad that I could incorporate her collection of flowers and fauna to make her session a little more special. We also got dad and big sister to join in on the photo fun! Such a beautiful little family! P.S. Stay tuned for her son's newborn baby photos that will make you have baby fever!! I met Vani and her husband Chetan along with their oldest son Sid at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale (Sid is very happy to have a baby brother in August). Vani was about seven months pregnant (which btw is a great time to get maternity photos since you are not too tired yet but your belly still looks amazing). We had a lot of fun with many props that Vani had brought (she is Pinterest master/genius!): chalk board sign for custom messages, clothes line with baby outfits, baby shoes, and flower crown. She is amazing for being so creative and I'm glad we got to use them to make her session more special. P.S. They also brought a family friend along who filled in as our session assistant and he was amazingly helpful! Thanks guys! |
